“To make dreams come true”
The Magician is the visionary, catalyst, innovator, charismatic leader, mediator, shaman, healer, or medicine man or woman. They inspire people to commit to a higher vision of what they can be or do. Their service promises transformation and often has the allure of an instant change.
They love synchronicity, are unconventional, hopeful and value the link between magic and practical outcomes.
The Magician appeals to our desire to snap our fingers and experience a sense of magic, transforming ourselves or our situation into what we dream to be.
The Magician appeals to those who desire something in their lives be magically transformed
The Humanitarian is the unsung hero.
Their preference is to work behind the scenes for what they believe is fair and just, though they are willing to take center stage for a cause that is important enough to them.
The Humanitarian wants to be sure the common person feels heard, recognized and valued.
In their “I’m just like you” style, they are often the driving force behind great social change.
They lead from the trenches, often inspiring others by their simple, forthright character.
The Humanitarian taps into our desire to know that we all count, and we each have a voice, no matter what our status is in life.
And for my next magic trick, I will turn a hectic, unproductive work week into a focus, productive schedule with less stress.
What am I supposed to be doing right now? Look at the schedule
I need to do _______. When do I do it? Look at the schedule.
Things that have to be daily consistencies such as marketing phone calls emails and social media are scheduled in.
Lunch is listed as lunch and re-energize. That means I can also exercise or take a nap during that time.
If something doesn’t fit in the schedule or takes longer than the time allowed I have flexible time that I can use.
When I know I only have an hour to get something done. It gets done. When I take as long as I want on something it takes longer.
I get a limited time for coaching in meetings. So I better make it worth it.
There’s always a lot for me to learn and study and implement. It’s on the schedule.
I need to go out and meet people live in person. It’s on the schedule.
Personal time, family time and church are also in the schedule.
There are two times on my schedule to do clearing. Which means I take things off my to do list by getting them done. Or I just decide not to do them. I can also clean my physical space such as my office my desk my house. Or I can even clear my emotional space and decide to not give something energy.
When I can stick to the schedule 70% of the time I have a very productive week.
Every three months I rewrite the schedule. To keep a variety that I need. And I stick with it for three months so that I get the benefit of consistency.
This enables me to be in the moment with the activity that I am doing. Instead of thinking there something else I should be doing I know that something else is planned for later. If I don’t get something done right now, I know that there is time in the future scheduled to finish it.
Make your own schedule.
4 things I like to do before a big event (seminar). My tradition.
1. Do something fun and personal.
Often I go play Airsoft or do something adventurous.
2. Get a manicure.
I take personal care of myself.
I celebrate life. Never trust an enlighten being the doesn’t know how to dance. If they don’t know how to have fun how enlighten can they be.
4. I go to the bank and fill my pocket with cash.
Remind myself that I am abundant. And that the event is about service not just business.
And to all my friends in personal security. I know what I just said. Calm down. LOL.
When most people do a big event (seminar) they work hard preparing up to the day of the event. Do the event and then the next day, take a break and the next few days off. As a result the first day of their event, they start off tired. Then after the event, when they have momentum and the iron is hot, they interrupt that pattern by taking a day off. This is ineffective for those two reasons. I look to be prepared a few days before an event. So I can take a break before we start. So on the first day I start off fresh and feeling abundant and happy. Then after the event, I plan on a few days of follow up to take advantage of the momentum. Even if I’m not talking to people from the event afterwards my energy is so high that anyone I talk to is more effective.
Typically when I hear that phrase it is an obvious indication that the person asking the question or making the statement does not understand what Hypnosis is. To address this, I will usually go back to explaining what Hypnosis is by employing the four different explanations we covered earlier. This usually makes it easier for the person to understand that yes, they too can be hypnotized. After explaining what Hypnosis is, “I am afraid I cannot be hypnotized” generally means that the subject is afraid that they will either not understand or cannot learn. I assure you (and them), that if they can learn anything like Math or English, then they too can learn this process as well. You may learn it quickly or it may take some time. Some people think they cannot be hypnotized because they are either far too intelligent or not intelligent enough, always one extreme or the other, when the truth is that individual intelligence does not reflect one’s ability to learn this process. So neither being intelligent or unintelligent will directly affect their ability to be hypnotized. Others think they are too strong willed. What that really means is they are afraid of change or to surrender to control, which is an entirely different statement than being afraid that they can’t be Hypnotized. Again, explaining to them what hypnosis truly is will make it easier for people to understand that they can be hypnotized. I find the more confident a person is, the more willing they are to give up control for a brief moment, knowing that they can get control back at any time. So the more confident a person is, the easier of a subject they are. Students in the military are always in the ‘taking- instruction- mode’, and as a result tend to tend to be some of the best and easiest subjects.
Before we delve into the art of Self-Hypnosis, it is important to point out the importance of having someone else hypnotize you. It gives you the benefit of being able to let go of your conscious mind completely as you go through the process. As I explained earlier, all hypnosis is in fact self-hypnosis! Perhaps this question is best left to choice. (Hint: Revisit The Garden Path Explanation).
