How much do you charge?

When I was teenager I was a working professional magician. Not know any other magicians at the time , I charged $500-$800 a show. Only to find out later that most magician in that area at that time doing a similar quality of show were only charging $125. Boy, I am glad I didn’t know that. Some times you are better off not knowing what other people are doing. Have you ever succeeded because you didn’t know better?
What you make $$$ is not based on what you do. It’s based on the perceived value negotiated.
I used to do a show in san diego in the afternoon for $500 then drive up to LA the same night and do the same show for $1200
